Anthony Lolli rose from humble beginnings to become a successful real estate investor, developer, and entrepreneur. A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY, Anthony got his real estate license at 19, and quickly became one of the top agents in the borough. At 21, realizing that the established real estate companies at the time were not giving renters the attention they deserved, he decided to launch his own firm, RAPIDREALTY NYC.
A hands-on leader and franchisor, on any given day, Anthony can be found training agents at any of Rapid’s many offices, helping new franchisees look for the perfect location to set up shop, or meeting with new partners to expand and improve the range of services RAPIDREALTY offers its clients.
Anthony’s dynamic leadership style, business innovation, and philanthropy have garnered recognition both locally—receiving awards from New York publications like The Queens Courier and Brooklyn Spectator—and on the international stage. In 2013, Anthony received the Silver Stevie in the Real Estate Executive of the Year category of the International Business Awards, and became the first real estate professional to win top prize in the Entrepreneur of the Year category of the Golden Bridge Awards. He also led RAPIDREALTY to a place on the Inc. 5000, SmartCEO New York’s Future 50 list, and back-to-back Franchisee Satisfaction Awards from The Franchise Business Review, all within Rapid’s first four years of franchising.
In Spring, 2013, RAPIDREALTY grabbed the world’s attention after CBS News reported that over forty of Anthony’s agents had decided to get tattoos of the company logo (the number is now over sixty). In the space of just a few weeks, Anthony appeared in over 2,000 media outlets around the globe (including The Today Show, Time, and The Wall Street Journal) as everyone wanted a quote from the man who could inspire his agents to literally wear their dedication on their sleeves.
Outside of the tattoo phenomenon, Anthony is a frequent guest on Fox Business, and his unique insights have been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Crain's New York, and numerous real estate publications, including The Real Deal, where he was called "the ultimate entrepreneur and the poster child for franchising." Additionally, he serves as an adviser to Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams as co-chair of the Small Business Committee.
Anthony is a regular speaker at colleges, high schools, and business forums. He also reaches an audience of over one million readers through his blogs on these popular sites:
He also frequently shares his unique insights into real estate, franchising, and more on radio programs across the country. Visit Anthony on SoundCloud to hear some of these memorable interviews.
Anthony is also deeply committed to giving back. He has worked with numerous national charities, such as the American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity, as well as a multitude of local organizations aimed at improving the lives of New Yorkers in need.
One of the causes closest to his heart is ensuring that everyone has access to educational and professional opportunities regardless of their race, gender, or economic background. He was recently recognized by the magazine Diversity Agenda for creating opportunities and promoting business ownership among women and minorities. His efforts to create equal opportunities also earned RAPIDREALTY the New York Urban League's "Champions of Diversity" award, as well as a Special Achievement Award from the National Minority Business Council. Carlos Angelucci began honing his business leadership skills at an early age. At 18, he was the youngest manager in the country for a well-known, 7,500 store electronics retail operation. He went on to run multiple stores, increasing the sales at each one until they all ranked among the top 25 stores nationwide.
He then moved to a major telecommunications company, where he quickly became a top salesperson. He was offered multiple regional management positions, but he instead chose to take on a new challenge. After multiple meetings with Anthony Lolli, Carlos realized that he wanted to work somewhere he would be free to develop his talents and earning potential without limits, and he knew RAPIDREALTY would be that place. He acquired his real estate license and joined RAPIDREALTY NYC as an agent in early 2006.
In a matter of months, Carlos established himself as one of RAPIDREALTY's highest-producing rental agents. At the time, RAPIDREALTY primarily worked in residential rentals. Less than a year after joining the company, Carlos was tapped to develop the company's commercial division. Within three months, RAPID's distinctive For Rent signs could be found on over 500 retail properties throughout New York City.
When RAPIDREALTY added another floor to its flagship office, Carlos was tasked with using the space to recruit and train an entirely new team of agents. It was effectively a dry run for future expansion, to see if he could build a strong rental team from scratch that could perform as well as RAPID's veteran agents. While working toward this goal, Carlos created the company's first new agent orientation program.
He proved so successful at teambuilding that he was soon promoted to Human Resources Director, making him the head of all of RAPIDREALTY's recruiting efforts. With the highly efficient recruitment systems he put in place, Carlos regularly interviewed over a hundred candidates a day. The company quickly grew to the point where opening additional offices was not just a possibility, but a necessity.
In 2008, with expansion on the horizon, Carlos was named RAPIDREALTY's Chief Operating Officer. Since then, he has had a profound influence on the development of the RAPIDREALTY brand. He has created dozens of manuals, crafted major policy initiatives, and played an integral role in launching and overseeing the company's franchising operations, setting the stage for RAPIDREALTY to earn multiple awards for growth and franchisee satisfaction within its first few years of expansion.
Today, Carlos's responsibilities range from crafting marketing strategies to developing new technologies and partnerships to traveling across the country to establish new RAPIDREALTY franchises. He is the chief advisor to Anthony Lolli, a constant source of support to the company's growing ranks of franchisees and agents, and a guiding force behind both the way RAPIDREALTY does business today and the way it is adapting for the future.
